Bair works as a writer and director for Congo Square’s web series, BLACKSIDE.
Bair also works as head writer for Syllble Studios’ multimedia series, BLACKTOPIA.
Book One: The Royal Housecat was published on June 3, 2024 on AMAZON.

BIO:
Bairton Brown (he/they) is an award-winning,
multiracial filmmaker and theatre practitioner. The child of a travel nurse, they were raised across the U.S. in Illinois, Michigan, Oregon, and Wisconsin. Bair graduated high school two years early in order to attend the Second City Training Center in Chicago.
In 2021, earning a BFA in from DePaul University in Chicago, Bair’s first film FROM YOUR FORMER LOVER premiered at the New York Independent Cinema Awards. As a thesis, Bair directed the series NAOMI & LEVI TAKE ON THE WORLD , which earned distribution on Open Television | OTV.
In 2022, Bair’s short film THICKER THAN OIL received Best Production Design at Paper Crowns Film Festival. While earning their Master’s in Arts & Public Policy from NYU, Bair directed the sold-out world premiere of HOW DARE YOU by Kendra Augustin at Affirmation Theatre, and FINAL GOODBYE by Shaneisha Dodson at Soundscape .
Last Year, Bair completed a Next-Up Playwriting Fellowship at Congo Square Theatre. Brown’s second full-length play, THE PLAY GROUNDS received staged readings at Congo Square Theatre, Denver Fringe, Hollywood Fringe Festival. In August, Bair officially registered their LLC Stonehaven Studios.
